Through specialist teaching and support, IPaSS promotes greater inclusion, increased independence, equal access to the curriculum and improved educational outcomes.

IPaSS - Integrated Physical and Sensory Service.

The Integrated Physical and Sensory Service is an education support service based in Hull. We are a team within Hull City Council's Children and Young Persons' service. We strive to raise the attainment of children and young people with hearing impairments, visual impairments and physical difficulties from birth to 25 years.

We also provide a traded service element that external organisations can access, including the knowledge and experience of our Specialist Teachers and the resources that are produced by our team of graphic designers and curriculum support teams. We also have a Specialist Technical team, who are able to recommend and maintain specialist SEN equipment.

Visual Impairment

Our Visual Impairment team provides Qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired,<, Specialist Teaching Assistants, Curriculum Support and Habilitation services.

Hearing Impairment

The Hearing Impairment team consists of Teachers of the Deaf, Audiologists, Deaf Instructors and Specialist Teaching Assistants.

Physical Difficulties

Our Physical Difficulties team provides advice and training with our specialist teachers, moving and handling advisor and specialist technician.

Multiple Difficulties

IPaSS offers a unique, cohesive working method and through our integrated structure, we are ideally placed to provide support for children and young people with multiple difficulties.
